Since its inception in 1970, MSCEB has been contributing to the overall growth of the Kingdom’s infrastructure, the aspirations of Mohammed Salahuddin and Thamer Salahuddin holds true to this day; to deliver quality projects through expertise, innovation and design excellence.
In the year of 1970 a young Architect by the name of Mohamed Salahuddin started his career in the field of Architecture and Engineering, His career first started off by solely designing a building that was constructed within a year. In that same year, Mr. Salahuddin set up his first office in Manama opposite to Salahuddin building.
Three years later, MSCEB’s name came into existence and continued until the year 1975, As the number of employees grew bigger Mr. Salahuddin had to move to Salahuddin Building to accommodate the employees, Initially, the office was handled by five employees but as the number of projects increased, more and more employees were employed.
Mr. Mohamed Salahuddin later explains his passion for Architecture, It is often said that an apple doesn’t fall far from a tree. This saying rings exceptionally true for Mr. Salahuddin who followed in the professional footsteps of his father Salahuddin Bin Ahmed Hasan Ibrahim. Unfortunately, his father died when Mr. Mohamed Salahuddin was 11 years old leaving his children and uncompleted projects behind.
From the year 1963, while Mr. Mohamed was studying in UK, he would usually spend his summer holidays designing and planning the construction of the Salahuddin’s family properties. This experience aided him to design many buildings and houses before officially establishing an engineering office. Fast forward to MSCEB in Salahuddin’s Building, further expansion took place as two joint ventures were established with AHRI & Travers Morgan between 1983 and 1986, a number of prestigious projects were won and the joint ventures helped great deal in securing more jobs in the office.
By the late 80’s, introduction of computers and software in the designs kept MSCEB ahead of its competitors and enhanced our business and services. Which led him to open a branch office in Gudaibia headed by his brother Architect Ahmed Salahuddin. From the year 2000 onwards, after

Today, MSCEB is an award winning Architectural and Engineering Consultancy firm, with a talented and diverse workforce, proudly carrying the name and the values of its founder, continuing with a young and agile leadership to further grow through the decades, surviving many changes, but always consistently committed to providing quality services.
MSCEB takes pride in having designed, supervised, and renovated number of the Kingdom’s recognizable developments, and projects. Moreover, working with several international consultants, including Aedas, AHR, Gensler, HOK, Jacobs, Rafael Vinoly, RTKL, SOM and Symonds.
